Trenchless Technology in Rancho Cucamonga, CA by Allstar Home Services
One of the frustrations of dealing with a sewer line in need of repair or replacement is the knowledge that this service will not be simple. If you know anything about your sewer line, you know that it is buried on your property so that the wastewater can flow into the sewer main or to the septic tank in your yard. This means that repairs can be difficult, as your plumber may have to dig a large trench in order to access the pipe—that is, unless you choose plumbers who use trenchless technology for sewer line services.
It is important to note that not all companies currently have access to trenchless technology for sewer pipe repair and replacement. Allstar Home Services is the company to call if you want to ensure as little mess on and destruction of your property as possible. Contact us today to learn more about how this “no-dig technology” works, and to schedule an assessment and free estimate for trenchless repair or replacement with one of our drain and sewer specialists in the Rancho Cucamonga, CA area.
Allstar Home Services provides trenchless sewer line repair and replacement near Rancho Cucamonga, CA and the surrounding areas.
How Does Trenchless Technology Work?
With trenchless technology, only one or two holes are dug into your yard to provide an access point for the equipment that is inserted into the pipes. There are two methods for trenchless sewer pipe repair and replacement: sewer pipe bursting and trenchless sewer CIPP (cured–in–place–pipe) lining. With pipe bursting, a machine pushes a new flexible pipe through the older pipe, and a bursting head attached to the end shatters the old pipe into pieces.
Pipe lining involves the same type of machine pushing a deflated pipe coated with adhesive through the older pipe. The new lining is inflated and sealed onto the older pipe once the adhesive dries.
Are Your Sewer Lines in Need of Repair?
You should look out for the signs that your sewer line is in need of repair so that you can schedule service as early on as possible. Sewer pipe leaks will likely result in an odor outside of your property. It’s also possible that sewage will back up through your drains if the sewer line is in need of repair. And for leaks underneath grass, the yard may seem greener and fuller, since the sewage can act as a fertilizer. Call a plumber immediately if you suspect a leak.
Old, corroded pipes are unfit to remain on the property, and replacement is often the best option. Sewer repair can be a stressful process, but our plumbers will work hard to make it as easy on you as possible. We have video camera pipeline inspection equipment to determine the source of the issue and decide whether pipe lining or pipe bursting is a better option for your trenchless sewer repair needs.
